Privacy and your health data

It depends on whether you are signed in

The assessment asks about blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, weight, physical activity, hearing, vision, head injury, education, smoking, alcohol, mood, and social contact. What happens to those answers depends entirely on whether you have an account.

If you are not signed in

Your answers never leave your browser. They are held in your own browser using a feature called session storage, used to calculate your results on your device, and discarded when you close the tab. We do not receive them, cannot store them, and have no way to recover them for you later.

If you are signed in

When you finish an assessment while signed in, we save it to your account so you can look at it again and compare it with later ones. What we store for each saved assessment:

• Your age band, sex, and education level
• Your answer to each of the 14 risk factor questions
• The resulting score, the domain breakdown, and which version of our scoring model produced them
• The date you completed it

We never ask for your date of birth, your name beyond what Google provides, your address, or any identifier from your medical records.

Alongside that, signing in stores your name and email address as provided by Google, your profile image URL if you have one, a sign-in session record so you stay signed in, and the date your account was created.

Signing in is entirely optional. The assessment and your results work fully without an account — you simply do not get a saved history.

What we deliberately do not do

• We do not sell or share your personal information with anyone.
• We do not use advertising, ad networks, retargeting, or marketing trackers.
• We do not run third-party analytics products, and we do not build behavioural profiles.
• We do not ask for your date of birth, name, or address.
• We do not collect payment information. This tool is free and there is nothing to buy.

Consent, and withdrawing it

Before the assessment asks you anything about your health, it asks you to agree to answer those questions. You can decline and simply not use the tool.

If you are not signed in, withdrawing is immediate and complete: close the tab, or clear your browser's storage for this site, and the data is gone, because we never had it.

If you are signed in, you can view everything we have saved on your saved assessments page, and delete any individual assessment from there. To delete your account and everything attached to it, write to info@neuvitas.com and we will confirm when it is done. You may also ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you.

Depending on where you live, you may have specific legal rights over health-related data, including rights of access, deletion, and withdrawal of consent. We honour those requests regardless of where you live, using the same email address above.

Service providers

The site is hosted on Vercel and our database is operated by our hosting provider. Like any web host, these services process technical request information such as IP addresses and timestamps in order to serve pages and keep the service secure. Google processes your sign-in if you use it. Saved assessments are held in our database, operated by Prisma. We do not send your health answers to anyone else, and we never send them to Google.

Children

This tool is intended for adults and is not designed for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We update this page in the same change that alters what we collect, never afterwards. If we ever begin storing more than is described above — or storing anything at all for people who are not signed in — we will say so here before it goes live and ask for your consent separately rather than assuming it.
